After returning to Hong Kong from London, with limited material resources, it was hard to recreate my ‘British blend’. The reality drove me to work with the local materials and because of that I’ve created a new way of marbling, and able to make bigger works like plates & vases.
The form of my plates have evolved over time, from capturing the circular movements of the wheel to now layering hues and strokes and layers, creating different sceneries.
Under the description of the works, don't forget to look out for "Amanda's Musings", where I share a little more about the process & thoughts behind each piece of work.
